Do Not Drink … Gamble!

[ English ]

If you enjoy a beer occasionally, keep your cash out of the casino if you plan to do your drinking in a casino. I’m serious. Empty your handbag, your wallet, and leave all money, credit cards and chequebooks back at the hotel. Pack only the money you expect to use on drinks, tips and only the pocket change you expect to throw away and leave the remainder behind.

Cynical? Not by any means. Realistic more like. You might experience a success following a intoxicated night out with your comrades and be lucky enough to hit a 25 minute roll at a hot craps table. Keep that adventure considering that it is as brief as it gets if you continuously drink and wager. The two simply do not go well together.

Leaving your cash back at the hotel is a tiny bit drastic, but precautionary actions for dramatic actions is required. If you bet to win, then do not drink alcohol and gamble. If you can afford to be wasteful with your $$$$ without a worry, then consume all the gratuitous booze you are able to handle, but don’t take charge cards and checks to toss into the mix of chasing squanderings after your befuddled self loses all the cash!

Allow me to take this a single step more. Don’t consume alcohol and then hop on the net to bet in your favorite casino either. I love to cocktail from the comfort of my condo, but seeing that I am linked up through Neteller, Firepay and keep credit cards in close proximity, I can’t drink and wager.

What’s the reason? Although I don’t consume alcohol to excess, when I drink alcohol, it is absolutely enough to cloud my common sense. I bet, so I do not drink when gambling. If you are a drinker, do not bet at the same time. Both create a ferocious, and expensive, drink.
