If you enjoy having a a drink occasionally, leave your cash out of the casino if you are going to do your consuming in a casino. I’m serious. Leave your purse, your money belt, and keep all cash, charge cards and checks at home. Only take whatever money you expect to spend on refreshments, tipping and few dollars you expect to burn and leave the rest behind.
Contemptuous? Not by any means. Just realistic. You might experience a success after a drunken night out with your compatriots and be blessed sufficiently to hook a marathon toss at a on fire craps game. Keep that adventure because it is as brief as it gets if you continuously drink alcohol and wager. These activities just do not mix.
Keeping your moolah back at the hotel might be a little excessive, but defensive measures for drastic actions is compulsory. If you gamble to profit, then do not drink and play. If you can afford to be wasteful with your $$$$ nary a worry, then drink all the gratuitous booze you can handle, but do not take credit cards and cheques to throw into the mix of following losses after your hooched up head loses every little thing!
Let me to take this a single step more. Don’t drink and then go on the web to bet in your favorite casino either. I enjoy a beverage from the comfort of my condominium, however since I am connected through Neteller, Firepay and have credit cards at my fingertips, I can’t drink and wager.
Why? Even though I don’t drink alcohol to excess, when I drink alcohol, it’s clearly sufficient to befuddle my better judgment. I gamble, so I do not drink alcohol when betting. If you are a drinker, don’t gamble when you do. When mixed, both create a dangerous, and expensive, drink.
