1st to explain the reason I wrote this article. I have been wagering online or at physical casinos for many years. I have learned, the fixation can grab a hold of you and you will not even realize it up until you are broke. Especially if you’re on a winning run. I have gone through countless tens of thousands of dollars in a very short amount of time and still on occasion, I’ll go too far. It seems you are just having fun until you start to pay attention to your defeats and the guilt settles in, and then you continue to tell yourself "I can earn it back" repeatedly. It never works. Then you feel queasy in your gut and the harder you attempt the quicker you are deprived.
When you notice that you’re ahead, STAY on the UP! When you start to be beaten, don’t tell yourself, "well perhaps one more" and again and again, believe me, this method hardly ever functions. Say you are betting on slots, have a bankroll set to the side before starting your play. Don’t exceed that limit, no matter how alluring. If you happen to succeed, put that in a separate pot. Do not use your winnings no matter what. Once you’ve gambled through your original set limit, bail out. Head out, regardless if it’s on the web or at a physical casino, don’t stick around. Always remember, there will be a different day, a different time.
Remember, wagering should be FUN not exhausting, sickening work! If you aren’t enjoying yourself, you don’t belong there. If youcan’t afford the loss, don’t even start.
